you shall do no work in it; it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. 4 These are the feasts of the LORD, holy gatherings, which you shall proclaim in their seasons. 5 On the fourteenth day of the first month at evening is the LORD'S Passover. 6 And on the fifteenth day of the same month is the feast of unleavened bread to the LORD; seven days you must eat unleavened bread. 7 On the first day you shall have a holy gathering: you shall do no servile work in it. 8 But you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD seven days; on the seventh day is a holy gathering; you shall do no servile work in it. 9 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land which I give you and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. 11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it. 12 And you shall offer that day when you wave the sheaf a he-lamb without blemish of the first year for a burnt offering to the LORD. 13 And its meat offering shall be two-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to the LORD for a sweet aroma; and its drink offering shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin. 14 And you shall eat neither bread, nor parched grain, nor fresh ears until the same day that you have brought an offering to your God; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 15 And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete. 16 Even to the day after the seventh sabbath shall you number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meat offering to the LORD. 17 You shall bring out of your dwellings two wave loaves of two-tenths of an ephah; they shall be made of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven; they are the firstfruits to the LORD. 18 And you shall offer with the bread seven lambs without blemish of the first year, one young bull, and two rams; they shall be a burnt offering to the LORD, with their meat offering and their drink offerings, an offering made by fire, of sweet aroma to the LORD. 19 Then you shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin offering, and two lambs of the first year for a sacrifice of peace offerings. 20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits for a wave offering before the LORD, with the two lambs; they shall be holy to the LORD for the priest. 21 And you shall proclaim on the same day that it may be a holy gathering to you; you shall do no servile work in it; it shall be a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations. 22 And when you reap the harvest of your land, you shall not wholly reap the corners of your field when you reap, nor shall you gather any of the gleaning of your harvest; you shall leave them for the poor and for the stranger; I am the LORD your God. 23 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 24 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a sabbath, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy gathering. 25 You shall do no servile work in it; but you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. 26 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month shall be the day of atonement; it shall be a holy gathering to you; and you shall afflict your souls and offer an offering made by fire to the LORD. 28 And you shall do no work in that same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before the LORD your God. 29 For any person who does not afflict himself on that same day shall be cut off from among his people. 30 And any person who does any work on that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people. 31 You shall do no manner of work; it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings. 32 It shall be to you a sabbath of rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath. 33 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 34 Speak to the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days to the LORD. 35 On the first day there shall be a holy gathering; you shall do no servile work in it. 36 Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD; on the eighth day there shall be a holy gathering to you, and you shall offer an offering made by fire to the LORD; it is a solemn assembly, and you shall do no servile work in it. 37 These are the feasts of the LORD, which you shall proclaim to be holy gatherings, to offer an offering made by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, and a meat offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, everything on its day. 38 Besides the sabbaths of the LORD and besides your gifts and besides all your vows and besides all your freewill offerings which you give to the LORD. 39 Also on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruit of the land, you shall keep a feast to the LORD seven days; • Num 15:1-9 : 1 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land of your habitations, which I give to you, 3 And make an offering by fire to the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in fulfilling a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a pleasing aroma to the LORD, of the herd or of the flock: 4 Then he who offers his offering to the LORD shall bring a grain offering of a tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a quarter of a hin of oil. 5 And you shall prepare a quarter of a hin of wine as a drink offering with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb. 6 Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a grain offering two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with a third of a hin of oil. 7 And for a drink offering you shall offer a third of a hin of wine, as a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 8 And when you prepare a bull for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in fulfilling a vow, or peace offerings to the LORD: 9 Then he shall bring with the bull a grain offering of three tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with half a hin of oil. 10 And you shall bring as a drink offering half a hin of wine, as an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 11 Thus shall it be done for one bull, or for one ram, or for a lamb or a goat. 12 According to the number you prepare, so shall you do to everyone according to their number. 13 All who are native shall do these things in this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD. 14 And if a stranger lives with you, or whoever is among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, as you do, so shall he do. 15 One ordinance shall be for you of the congregation and also for the stranger who lives with you, an ordinance forever in your generations: as you are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD. 16 One law and one custom shall be for you and for the stranger who lives with you. 17 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 18 Speak to the children of Israel and say to them, When you come into the land where I bring you, 19 Then it shall be, when you eat of the bread of the land, you shall offer up a heave offering to the LORD. 20 You shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough as a heave offering: as the heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall you heave it. 21 Of the first of your dough, you shall give to the LORD a heave offering in your generations. 22 And if you have erred and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD has spoken to Moses, 23 Even all that the LORD has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and onward through your generations; 24 Then it shall be, if anything is committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bull for a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma to the LORD, with its grain offering and its drink offering, according to the ordinance, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering. 25 And the priest shall make atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire to the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance: 26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger who lives among them; since all the people were in ignorance. 27 And if any soul sins through ignorance, then he shall bring a female goat of the first year for a sin offering. 28 And the priest shall make atonement for the soul that sins ignorantly, when he sins by ignorance before the LORD, to make atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him. 29 You shall have one law for him who sins through ignorance, both for him who is native among the children of Israel and for the stranger who lives among them. 30 But the soul who does anything presumptuously, whether he is native or a stranger, that soul reproaches the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people. 31 Because he has despised the word of the LORD, and has broken His commandment, that soul shall be completely cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him. 32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man gathering sticks on the Sabbath day. 33 And those who found him gathering sticks brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to all the congregation. 34 And they put him in confinement, because it was not yet declared what should be done to him. 35 And the LORD said to Moses, The man shall surely be put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones outside the camp. 36 And all the congregation brought him outside the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. 37 And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 38 Speak to the children of Israel and tell them to make fringes on the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and to put a blue cord on the fringe of the borders: 39 And it shall be for you a fringe, that you may look upon it and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that you do not follow after your own heart and your own eyes, in which you used to go astray: 40 That you may remember and do all My commandments, and be holy to your God. 41 I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.

  • Deut 16:1-9 : 1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the Passover to the LORD your God: for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you out of Egypt by night. 2 Therefore you shall sacrifice the Passover to the LORD your God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place His name there. 3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; for seven days you shall eat unleavened bread with it, the bread of affliction; for you came out of the land of Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came out of the land of Egypt all the days of your life. 4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you in all your territory for seven days; nor shall any of the flesh, which you sacrificed the first day at evening, remain all night until the morning. 5 You may not sacrifice the Passover within any of your gates, which the LORD your God gives you: 6 But at the place which the LORD your God shall choose to place His name in, there you shall sacrifice the Passover at evening, at the going down of the sun, at the season that you came out of Egypt. 7 And you shall roast and eat it in the place which the LORD your God shall choose: and you shall return in the morning, and go to your tents. 8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God: you shall do no work in it. 9 Seven weeks you shall number for yourself: begin to number the seven weeks from the time you begin to put the sickle to the grain. 10 And you shall keep the feast of weeks to the LORD your God with a tribute of a freewill offering from your hand, which you shall give to the LORD your God, according to how the LORD your God has blessed you: 11 And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite that is within your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are among you, in the place which the LORD your God has chosen to place His name there. 12 And you shall remember that you were a bondservant in Egypt: and you shall observe and do these statutes. 13 You shall observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after you have gathered in your grain and your wine: 14 And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates. 15 Seven days you shall keep a solemn feast to the LORD your God in the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD your God shall bless you in all your increase, and in all the works of your hands, therefore you shall surely rejoice. 16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the LORD your God in the place which He shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the LORD empty: 17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you. 18 Judges and officers you shall make for yourself in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, throughout your tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment. 19 You shall not pervert justice; you shall not show partiality, nor take a bribe: for a bribe blinds the eyes of the wise, and perverts the words of the righteous. 20 That which is altogether just you shall follow, that you may live, and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you. 21 You shall not plant for yourself any grove of trees near to the altar of the LORD your God, which you shall make for yourself. 22 Neither shall you set up for yourself any image, which the LORD your God hates.
