9 Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD does not see.
1 I saw the Lord standing upon the altar, and he said, Strike the lintel of the door, that the posts may shake; and cut them in the head, all of them. I will slay the last of them with the sword; he who flees from them shall not flee away, and he who escapes of them shall not be delivered.
9 Proclaim this among the nations: Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
10 And it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD, that there shall be the noise of a cry from the fish gate, and a wailing from the second quarter, and a great crashing from the hills.
11 Wail, you inhabitants of Maktesh, for all the merchant people are cut down; all those who handle silver are cut off.

2 And he spoke to the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, under the cherub, and fill your hands with coals of fire from between the cherubim, and scatter them over the city. And he went in, in my sight.

15 The sword is outside, and the pestilence and the famine within; he who is in the field shall die by the sword, and he who is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
6 For the Lord has said to me, Go, set a watchman, let him declare what he sees.
9 And he said to me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but only to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in my anger and in my fury, because of whose wickedness I have hidden my face from this city.
29 For, behold, I begin to bring calamity on the city which is called by My name, and should you be completely unpunished? You shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD of hosts.
11 And behold, the man clothed with linen, who had the inkwell by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you commanded me.
8 And I will make this city desolate, and an object of scorn; everyone who passes by it shall be astonished and hiss because of all its plagues.
6 You have multiplied your slain in this city, and you have filled its streets with the slain.
14 Then the LORD said to me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.
15 For behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says the LORD; and they shall come, and every one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.
21 And I said, What are these coming to do? And he spoke, saying, These are the horns that have scattered Judah so that no one could lift up his head; but these have come to terrify them, to cast out the horns of the nations that lifted up their horn over the land of Judah to scatter it.
16 Make mention to the nations; behold, proclaim against Jerusalem, that watchers come from a far country, and raise their voice against the cities of Judah.
18 For every builder had his sword girded at his side as he built. And the one who sounded the trumpet was beside me.
2 Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take one of their borders, and set him as their watchman:
9 The LORD'S voice cries to the city, and the man of wisdom will see Your name: Hear the rod, and who has appointed it.

20 So the people shouted when the priests blew the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.
5 Declare in Judah, and proclaim in Jerusalem; and say, Blow the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the fortified cities.
15 I have set the point of the sword against all their gates, that their heart may faint, and their ruins be multiplied: ah! it is made bright, it is wrapped up for the slaughter.
3 He brought me there, and behold, there was a man whose appearance was like bronze, with a linen line in his hand and a measuring reed, and he stood in the gateway.
12 Cry and howl, son of man: for it shall be upon my people, it shall be upon all the princes of Israel: terrors of the sword shall be upon my people: strike therefore upon your thigh.
19 And I said to the angel who talked with me, What are these? And he answered me, These are the horns that have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.
6 Howl; for the day of the LORD is near; it will come as a destruction from the Almighty.
9 And those who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth and set on fire and burn the weapons, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, the javelins and the spears, and they shall burn them with fire for seven years.
25 The LORD has opened his armory, and has brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.
18 And let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.
