32And he said, Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but this once; suppose ten should be found there. And he said, I will not destroy it for the sake of ten.
16And the men rose up from there, and looked toward Sodom; and Abraham went with them to bring them on the way.
17And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing;
17And it came to pass, when they had brought them out, that he said, Escape for your life; do not look behind you, nor stay anywhere in the plain; escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed.
18And Lot said to them, Oh, not so, my Lord.
19Behold now, your servant has found grace in your sight, and you have magnified your mercy, which you have shown to me in saving my life; and I cannot escape to the mountain, lest some evil overtake me and I die.
20Look now, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one: Oh, let me escape there, (is it not a little one?) and my soul shall live.
21And he said to him, See, I have accepted you in this matter also, that I will not overthrow this city for which you have spoken.
22Hurry, escape there; for I cannot do anything until you arrive there. Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.
28And he looked toward Sodom and Gomorrah, and toward all the land of the plain, and he saw, and behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace.
29And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham, and sent Lot out of the middle of the upheaval, when he overthrew the cities in which Lot dwelt.
12Abram dwelled in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelled in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent toward Sodom.
13But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the LORD exceedingly.
24Then the LORD rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the LORD out of heaven.
25And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.
3And said, My Lord, if now I have found favor in your sight, do not pass away, I pray you, from your servant.
29But on the same day that Lot went out of Sodom, it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all.
24But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment than for you.
40As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, says the LORD; so shall no man dwell there, neither shall any son of man live there.
15Truly I say to you, it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment, than for that city.
7And said, I pray you, brothers, do not do so wickedly.
8Behold now, I have two daughters who have not known a man; let me, I pray you, bring them to you, and do to them as seems good in your eyes: only do nothing to these men; for they have come under the shadow of my roof.
12And the men said to Lot, Do you have anyone else here? Son-in-law, your sons, your daughters, and anyone you have in the city, bring them out of this place.
13For we will destroy this place, because the outcry against them has grown great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD has sent us to destroy it.
5But if a man is just and does what is lawful and right,
6And turned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes, condemning them with an overthrow, making them an example to those who afterward would live ungodly;
10And Lot lifted up his eyes, and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere, before the LORD destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah, like the garden of the LORD, like the land of Egypt, as you come to Zoar.
30And I sought for a man among them, that should make up the hedge, and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it: but I found none.
18As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, says the LORD, no man shall dwell there, nor shall a son of man reside in it.
4But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter.
