15And when the morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, Arise, take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be consumed in the iniquity of the city.
16And while he lingered, the men grabbed his hand, his wife's hand, and the hands of his two daughters, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.
17And it came to pass, when they had brought them out, that he said, Escape for your life; do not look behind you, nor stay anywhere in the plain; escape to the mountains, lest you be consumed.
18And Lot said to them, Oh, not so, my Lord.
1And two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and bowed himself with his face to the ground.
7As Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in a similar manner to these, having given themselves over to sexual immorality and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
10And the valley of Siddim was full of tar pits; and the kings of Sodom and Gomorrah fled and fell there; and those who remained fled to the mountain.
4But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, surrounded the house, both young and old, all the people from every quarter.
18As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and their neighboring cities, says the LORD, no man shall dwell there, nor shall a son of man reside in it.
11I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and you were like a firebrand plucked from the burning: yet you have not returned to me, says the LORD.
10Hear the word of the LORD, you rulers of Sodom; listen to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
26And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.
24The LORD shall make the rain of your land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon you, until you are destroyed.
