10This they shall have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.
11And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
10For on this mountain the hand of the LORD will rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under Him, as straw is trodden down for the refuse heap.

38There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab and in its streets, for I have broken Moab like a vessel in which is no pleasure, says the LORD.
39They shall howl, saying, 'How it is broken down! How has Moab turned his back with shame!' So Moab shall be a derision and a dismaying to all those around him.
40For thus says the LORD: Behold, he shall fly like an eagle and shall spread his wings over Moab.
