9Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Beth-jeshimoth, Baal-meon, and Kiriathaim,

7Behold, therefore I will stretch out my hand upon you, and will deliver you for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from the people, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am the LORD.
8I have heard the reproach of Moab, and the revilings of the children of Ammon, by which they have reproached my people and magnified themselves against their border.
9Therefore as I live, says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Surely Moab shall be as Sodom, and the children of Ammon as Gomorrah, even a breeding of nettles, and salt pits, and a perpetual desolation: the remnant of my people shall plunder them, and the remnant of my people shall possess them.
10This they shall have for their pride, because they have reproached and magnified themselves against the people of the LORD of hosts.
42And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against the LORD.
3And say to it, Thus says the Lord GOD: Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you, and I will stretch out My hand against you, and I will make you most desolate.
24And upon Kerioth, Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.

19You say, Lo, you have struck the Edomites; and your heart is lifted up to boast; stay now at home; why should you meddle to your hurt, that you should fall, even you, and Judah with you?
10And now, see, the children of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, whom You would not let Israel invade when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them and did not destroy them;
15Moab is plundered, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men have gone down to the slaughter, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
16The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hastens quickly.
38There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab and in its streets, for I have broken Moab like a vessel in which is no pleasure, says the LORD.
39They shall howl, saying, 'How it is broken down! How has Moab turned his back with shame!' So Moab shall be a derision and a dismaying to all those around him.

20Declare this in the house of Jacob, and publish it in Judah, saying,
5Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom, who have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with spiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.
3And I will cut off the judge from its midst, and will slay all its princes with him, says the LORD.
10For on this mountain the hand of the LORD will rest, and Moab shall be trodden down under Him, as straw is trodden down for the refuse heap.
15Behold, upon the mountains the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows; for the wicked shall no longer pass through you; he is utterly cut off.
