  • 4 Thus says the LORD: For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept His commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after which their fathers walked:

  • 4 Hear the word of the LORD, O house of Jacob, and all the families of the house of Israel:

  • 4 I will bring it forth, says the LORD of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him who swears falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it, with its timber and its stones.

  • 7 And I said after she had done all these things, Turn to me. But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

  • 32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

  • 6 And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries around her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

  • 7 They have dealt treacherously against the LORD: for they have begotten strange children: now a month shall devour them with their portions.

  • 2 And though they say, The LORD lives; surely they swear falsely.

  • 6 You have forsaken me, says the LORD, you have gone backward: therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and destroy you; I am weary with repenting.

  • 9 In my ears said the LORD of hosts, Truly many houses shall be desolate, even great and beautiful, without inhabitant.

  • 10 Then I said: Ah, Lord GOD! surely you have greatly deceived this people and Jerusalem, saying, You shall have peace; whereas the sword reaches to the soul.
