    11For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.

    12They have denied the LORD, and said, It is not he; neither shall evil come upon us; neither shall we see sword nor famine:

  • 1Hear the word which the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel:

  • 1Cry aloud, do not hold back; lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.

    2Hear the words of this covenant, and speak to the men of Judah and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem;

    3And say to them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel: Cursed is the man who does not obey the words of this covenant,

  • 9In my ears said the LORD of hosts, Truly many houses shall be desolate, even great and beautiful, without inhabitant.

  • 13Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will you not receive instruction to listen to my words? says the LORD.

  • 15So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment to the nations that are around you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in fierce rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

  • 5All this is for the transgression of Jacob and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? Is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Are they not Jerusalem?

  • 20Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says the LORD.

  • 21And now I have this day declared it to you; but you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor anything for which he has sent me to you.

  • 4And you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD: If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,

  • 15Behold, upon the mountains the feet of him who brings good tidings, who publishes peace! O Judah, keep your solemn feasts, perform your vows; for the wicked shall no longer pass through you; he is utterly cut off.

  • 12If you shall hear in one of your cities, which the LORD your God has given you to dwell there, saying,

  • 4Therefore I said, Surely these are poor; they are foolish: for they do not know the way of the LORD, nor the judgment of their God.

  • 17Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken to them, but they have not heard; and I have called to them, but they have not answered.

  • 4And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah.

  • 16And I will utter My judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken Me, and have burned incense to other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

  • 16Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read:

  • 29Why will you plead with me? you all have transgressed against me, says the LORD.
