  • 7Behold, therefore I will stretch out my hand upon you, and will deliver you for a spoil to the nations; and I will cut you off from the people, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

  • 8How can I give you up, Ephraim? How can I deliver you, Israel? How can I make you like Admah? How can I set you like Zeboim? My heart is turned within me, my compassion is kindled together.

  • 14Turn, O backsliding children, says the LORD; for I am married to you: and I will take you, one from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion:

  • 5Why then has this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit, they refuse to return.

  • 7Yet you have not listened to Me, says the LORD; that you might provoke Me to anger with the works of your hands to your own harm.

  • 25Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he has stretched out his hand against them, and has struck them: and the hills trembled, and their carcasses were torn in the midst of the streets. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.

  • 28For this the earth shall mourn, and the heavens above be black: because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not relent, nor will I turn back from it.

  • 9O Israel, you have destroyed yourself; but in me is your help.

  • 6And those that have turned back from the LORD; and those that have not sought the LORD, nor inquired for Him.

  • 13Your substance and your treasures I will give to the spoil without price, and that for all your sins, even in all your borders.

  • 14And I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance, and deliver them into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;

  • 15So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment to the nations that are around you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in fierce rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

  • 6For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD. But behold, I will deliver every man into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand of his king. They shall strike the land, and I will not deliver them out of their hand.
