3 And what will you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation that shall come from afar? To whom will you flee for help? And where will you leave your glory?
15 Whereas you have been forsaken and hated, so that no one went through you, I will make you an eternal excellence, a joy of many generations.
6 For I will no longer pity the inhabitants of the land, says the LORD. But behold, I will deliver every man into his neighbor's hand, and into the hand of his king. They shall strike the land, and I will not deliver them out of their hand.

16 Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, nor make intercession to me: for I will not hear you.
17 Do you not see what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?
17 Therefore, you shall speak this word to them: 'Let my eyes flow with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.'
9 Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
14 O Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long shall your vain thoughts lodge within you?

14 Therefore do not pray for this people, nor lift up a cry or prayer for them, for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me for their trouble.
29 Cut off your hair, O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD has rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.
10 Rejoice with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice with joy with her, all you that mourn for her:
5 For thus says the LORD, Do not enter the house of mourning, nor go to lament or bemoan them, for I have taken away my peace from this people, says the LORD, even lovingkindness and mercies.
10 For the mountains I will take up a weeping and wailing, and for the habitations of the wilderness a lamentation, because they are burned up, so that none can pass through them; neither can men hear the voice of the cattle; both the birds of the heavens and the beasts have fled; they are gone.
16 O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I plead with You, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain: because for our sins and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all around us.
19 Behold the voice of the cry of the daughter of my people because of those who dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her king in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their carved images and strange idols?
10 And it shall come to pass, when you show this people all these words, and they say to you, Why has the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
9 Now why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished? For pangs have taken you like a woman in labor.
4 The ways of Zion mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.
2 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; You have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one lives there,
1 Hear this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
17 But if you will not hear it, my soul shall weep in secret places for your pride; and my eye shall weep bitterly, and run down with tears, because the LORD's flock is taken captive.
12 Therefore for your sake Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of the forest.
