10 The adversary has spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she has seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom you commanded that they should not enter into your congregation.
11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for food to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider, for I have become vile.
12 Is it nothing to you, all you that pass by? Look and see if there is any sorrow like my sorrow, which is done to me, with which the LORD has afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.
15 The Lord has trodden underfoot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he has called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the Lord has trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress.
16 For these things I weep; my eye, my eye runs down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.
17 Zion spreads forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD has commanded concerning Jacob that his adversaries should be all around him: Jerusalem is like a menstruous woman among them.

11 Now also are many nations gathered against you, that say, 'Let her be defiled, and let our eyes gaze upon Zion.'

4 Therefore I said, Look away from me; I will weep bitterly, do not labor to comfort me, because of the destruction of the daughter of my people.
19 These two things have come upon you; who shall feel sorry for you? Desolation and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort you?
17 Therefore, you shall speak this word to them: 'Let my eyes flow with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous blow.'

8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.

13 Gird yourselves, and lament, you priests: howl, you ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, you ministers of my God: for the grain offering and the drink offering are withheld from the house of your God.
16 Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, says thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the farmer to mourning, and such as are skilled in lamentation to wailing.
14 But Zion said, The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.
18 I will gather those who are sorrowful for the solemn assembly, who are of you, to whom the reproach of it was a burden.
13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
15 The joy of our heart has ceased; our dance is turned into mourning.
11 They have made it desolate, and being desolate it mourns to Me; the whole land is made desolate, because no one lays it to heart.
