18Nevertheless in those days, says the LORD, I will not make a complete end with you.
6Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul; be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; He will render to her a recompense.

11For as the belt clings to the waist of a man, so have I caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to me, says the LORD; that they might be to me a people, and a name, and a praise, and a glory: but they would not hear.

22For the LORD will not forsake his people for his great name's sake: because it has pleased the LORD to make you his people.
14For Israel has forgotten his Maker, and builds temples; and Judah has multiplied fortified cities, but I will send a fire upon his cities, and it shall devour the palaces there.
26For the LORD saw the affliction of Israel, that it was very bitter, for there was no one left free, no help at all for Israel.
15O LORD God of Israel, You are righteous, for we remain yet as escaped, as it is this day. Behold, we are before You in our trespasses, for we cannot stand before You because of this.
2The Lord has swallowed up all the dwellings of Jacob, and has not pitied: He has thrown down in His wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He has brought them down to the ground: He has defiled the kingdom and its princes.
44And yet for all that, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God.
