10And the children of Israel cried out to the LORD, saying, We have sinned against You, both because we have forsaken our God and also served the Baals.
7How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.
6Turn to Him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.

14And they have not cried unto me with their heart, when they howled upon their beds: they gather themselves for grain and wine, and they rebel against me.
6My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
2Israel shall cry to me, 'My God, we know you.'
1Hear this word which I take up against you, even a lamentation, O house of Israel.
6The LORD also said to me in the days of Josiah the king, Have you seen what backsliding Israel has done? She has gone up upon every high mountain and under every green tree, and there has played the harlot.
7And I said after she had done all these things, Turn to me. But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.

6You have forsaken me, says the LORD, you have gone backward: therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and destroy you; I am weary with repenting.
11For the house of Israel and the house of Judah have dealt very treacherously against me, says the LORD.
1Hear this word that the LORD has spoken against you, O children of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,
1They say, If a man divorces his wife, and she leaves him and becomes another man's wife, shall he return to her again? Would not that land be greatly defiled? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, says the LORD.
2Lift up your eyes to the high places and see where you have not been violated. On the roads you have sat for them, like an Arabian in the wilderness; and you have polluted the land with your whoredoms and your wickedness.
4They will not direct their deeds to turn to their God: for the spirit of prostitution is in the midst of them, and they have not known the LORD.
37Yet if they come to themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn and pray to you in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have dealt wickedly;
20We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You.
21Set up waymarks, make high heaps: set your heart toward the highway, the way you came: turn again, O virgin of Israel, turn again to these your cities.
