Yet if they come to themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn and pray to you in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have dealt wickedly;

29Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made by any man, or by all your people Israel, when everyone knows his own plague and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
30Then hear from heaven your dwelling place, and forgive, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you only know the hearts of the children of men:)
13Therefore now amend your ways and your deeds, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will relent of the evil that he has pronounced against you.
