If they shall confess their iniquity and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass which they trespassed against me, and that also they have walked contrary to me;

25Then hear from the heavens, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.
26When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you afflict them;

5And it shall be, when he is guilty in any of these matters, that he shall confess that he has sinned in that thing:
6For our fathers have trespassed, and done evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken Him, and turned away from the dwelling place of the LORD, and turned their backs.
