If they sin against you, (for there is no man who does not sin,) and you are angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captive to a land far off or near;

6Do not let your mouth cause your flesh to sin, nor say before the angel that it was an error; why should God be angry at your voice and destroy the work of your hands?
4And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.

18Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
