37 And it yields much increase to the kings You have set over us because of our sins; also, they have dominion over our bodies and our cattle at their pleasure, and we are in great distress.
38 And because of all this, we make a sure covenant and write it; and our princes, Levites, and priests seal it.
11 Yes, all Israel has transgressed Your law, even by departing, that they might not obey Your voice; therefore, the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against Him.
12 And He has confirmed His words, which He spoke against us and against our judges who judged us, by bringing upon us a great calamity: for under the whole heaven, such as has been done upon Jerusalem has not been done.
13 As it is written in the law of Moses, all this calamity has come upon us: yet we have not made our prayer before the LORD our God, that we might turn from our iniquities and understand Your truth.
14 Therefore the LORD has watched over the calamity, and brought it upon us: for the LORD our God is righteous in all His works which He does: for we have not obeyed His voice.
15 And now, O Lord our God, who brought Your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and made Yourself a name, as it is this day; we have sinned, we have done wickedly.
16 O Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I plead with You, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from Your city Jerusalem, Your holy mountain: because for our sins and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and Your people have become a reproach to all around us.
14 Should we again break Your commandments and join in affinity with the peoples of these abominations? Would You not be angry with us until You had consumed us, so that there should be no remnant or escaping?
15 O LORD God of Israel, You are righteous, for we remain yet as escaped, as it is this day. Behold, we are before You in our trespasses, for we cannot stand before You because of this.
6 And said, O my God, I am ashamed and blush to lift up my face to You, my God, for our iniquities are increased over our head, and our trespass has grown up to the heavens.
7 Since the days of our fathers we have been in a great trespass to this day; and because of our iniquities, we, our kings, and our priests, have been delivered into the hand of the kings of the lands, to the sword, to captivity, to spoil, and to confusion of face, as it is this day.
8 And now for a little while grace has been shown from the LORD our God, to leave us a remnant to escape, and to give us a peg in His holy place, that our God may enlighten our eyes and give us a little reviving in our bondage.
9 For we were bondservants, yet our God has not forsaken us in our bondage, but has extended mercy to us in the sight of the kings of Persia, to give us a reviving, to set up the house of our God, to repair its desolations, and to give us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.
10 And now, O our God, what shall we say after this? For we have forsaken Your commandments,
7 O Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but to us belongs confusion of face, as it is this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, those near and those far off, through all the countries where You have driven them, because of their trespass which they have trespassed against You.
8 O Lord, to us belongs confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against You.
9 To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness, though we have rebelled against Him;
5 We have sinned and committed iniquity, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and from Your judgments:
19 Have You utterly rejected Judah? Has Your soul loathed Zion? Why have You struck us down, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, but behold, trouble!
20 We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You.
17 All this has come upon us; yet we have not forgotten You, nor have we dealt falsely in Your covenant.
18 O my God, incline Your ear, and hear; open Your eyes, and behold our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name: for we do not present our supplications before You for our righteousness, but for Your great mercies.
9 For behold, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
10 Now it is in my heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that His fierce wrath may turn away from us.

27 Therefore You delivered them into the hand of their enemies, who oppressed them. And in the time of their trouble, when they cried to You, You heard from heaven; and according to Your manifold mercies, You gave them deliverers who saved them from the hand of their enemies.
28 But after they had rest, they did evil again before You; therefore You abandoned them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had dominion over them. Yet when they returned and cried out to You, You heard from heaven, and many times delivered them according to Your mercies.
42 We have transgressed and rebelled; You have not pardoned.
47 Yet if they shall come to themselves in the land where they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication to you in the land of those who carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;
8 O do not remember against us former iniquities; let Your tender mercies swiftly come to us, for we are brought very low.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; deliver us, and cleanse away our sins, for Your name's sake.
37 Yet if they come to themselves in the land where they are carried captive, and turn and pray to you in the land of their captivity, saying, We have sinned, we have done wrong, and have dealt wickedly;
13 Now therefore, our God, we thank You, and praise Your glorious name.
14 But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, and of Your own have we given You.
7 O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, act for Your name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against You.
13 And said to them, You shall not bring the captives here, for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, you intend to add more to our sins and to our trespass, for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.
7 We have dealt very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which You commanded Your servant Moses.
12 For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
11 See, how they repay us, to come to cast us out of Your possession, which You have given us to inherit.
10 He has not dealt with us according to our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken Him, and turned away from the dwelling place of the LORD, and turned their backs.
2 And said to Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we beseech you, our supplication be accepted before you, and pray for us to the LORD your God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few out of many, as your eyes do see us:)
50 And forgive your people that have sinned against you, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against you, and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:
