See, how they repay us, to come to cast us out of Your possession, which You have given us to inherit.

4Do not say in your heart, after the LORD your God has cast them out from before you, saying, Because of my righteousness the LORD has brought me in to possess this land: but it is because of the wickedness of these nations that the LORD drives them out from before you.
20We acknowledge, O LORD, our wickedness and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against You.
12And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.

12Who said, Let us take for ourselves the houses of God in possession.
14Moreover, you have not brought us into a land that flows with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: will you put out the eyes of these men? We will not come up.
15O LORD God of Israel, You are righteous, for we remain yet as escaped, as it is this day. Behold, we are before You in our trespasses, for we cannot stand before You because of this.
12But, O LORD of hosts, who tests the righteous, and sees the reins and the heart, let me see your vengeance on them: for to you have I opened my cause.
4Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavors; give them after the work of their hands; render to them their due.
4Hear, O our God; for we are despised: turn their reproach upon their own head, and give them as prey in a land of captivity:
11Look, a people has come out of Egypt, which covers the face of the earth; come now, curse them for me; perhaps I shall be able to overcome them, and drive them out.
38To drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as it is this day.
