12 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, backsliding Israel, says the LORD; and I will not cause my anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, says the LORD, and I will not keep anger forever.
13 Only acknowledge your iniquity, that you have transgressed against the LORD your God, and have scattered your ways to the strangers under every green tree, and you have not obeyed my voice, says the LORD.
14 Turn, O backsliding children, says the LORD; for I am married to you: and I will take you, one from a city, and two from a family, and I will bring you to Zion:
20 Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says the LORD.
21 A voice was heard upon the high places, weeping and supplications of the children of Israel: for they have perverted their way, and they have forgotten the LORD their God.
22 Return, you backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come to you; for you are the LORD our God.
12 Ephraim surrounds me with lies, and the house of Israel with deceit, but Judah still walks with God, and is faithful with the saints.
5 Why then has this people of Jerusalem slidden back by a perpetual backsliding? They hold fast to deceit, they refuse to return.
9 And the LORD said to me, A conspiracy is found among the men of Judah and among the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
10 They have turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, who refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

6 And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries around her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have multiplied more than the nations that are around you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, nor done according to the judgments of the nations around you;
11 Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
5 For Israel has not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
6 Turn to Him from whom the children of Israel have deeply revolted.
15 Though you, Israel, play the harlot, do not let Judah offend; do not come to Gilgal, nor go up to Bethaven, nor swear, 'As the LORD lives.'
16 For Israel is stubborn like a stubborn calf: now the LORD will feed them as a lamb in a large space.
7 And my people are determined to backslide from me; though they called them to the Most High, none at all would exalt him.
19 Your own wickedness shall correct you, and your backslidings shall reprove you: know therefore and see that it is an evil thing and bitter, that you have forsaken the LORD your God, and that my fear is not in you, says the Lord GOD of hosts.
5 And the pride of Israel testifies to his face: therefore Israel and Ephraim shall fall in their iniquity; Judah also shall fall with them.
7 O LORD, though our iniquities testify against us, act for Your name's sake: for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against You.
29 Why will you plead with me? you all have transgressed against me, says the LORD.
4 Thus says the LORD: For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they have despised the law of the LORD, and have not kept His commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after which their fathers walked:
7 How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.
4 And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and Judah.
19 Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the LORD their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they had made.
6 You have forsaken me, says the LORD, you have gone backward: therefore I will stretch out my hand against you, and destroy you; I am weary with repenting.
3 I know Ephraim, and Israel is not hidden from me: for now, O Ephraim, you commit whoredom, and Israel is defiled.
2 The LORD also has a controversy with Judah, and will punish Jacob according to his ways; according to his deeds will He recompense him.
11 Now therefore go, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a plan against you: return now everyone from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
16 And I will utter My judgments against them concerning all their wickedness, who have forsaken Me, and have burned incense to other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.
1 They say, If a man divorces his wife, and she leaves him and becomes another man's wife, shall he return to her again? Would not that land be greatly defiled? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, says the LORD.
15 What has my beloved to do in my house, seeing she has worked lewdness with many, and the holy flesh is passed from you? When you do evil, then you rejoice.
13 Woe to them! for they have fled from me: destruction to them! because they have transgressed against me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against me.
9 Then he said to me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceedingly great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD does not see.
4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children who are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel to anger, they have gone away backward.
1 If you will return, O Israel, says the LORD, return to me: and if you will put away your abominations out of my sight, then you shall not be moved.
11 Also, O Judah, he has set a harvest for you, when I return the captivity of my people.
51 Neither has Samaria committed half of your sins; but you have multiplied your abominations more than they, and have justified your sisters in all your abominations which you have done.
18 In those days, the house of Judah shall walk with the house of Israel, and they shall come together out of the land of the north to the land that I have given for an inheritance to your fathers.
9 Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
11 For as the belt clings to the waist of a man, so have I caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to me, says the LORD; that they might be to me a people, and a name, and a praise, and a glory: but they would not hear.
6 Then the LORD said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, saying, Hear the words of this covenant, and do them.
