7And I said after she had done all these things, Turn to me. But she did not return. And her treacherous sister Judah saw it.
8And I saw, when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I had put her away and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous sister Judah did not fear, but went and played the harlot also.
9And it came to pass through the frivolity of her whoredom, that she polluted the land and committed adultery with stones and with stocks.

5Behold, I am against you, says the LORD of hosts; and I will lift your skirts over your face, and I will show the nations your nakedness, and the kingdoms your shame.
26Therefore I will expose your skirts upon your face, that your shame may appear.
27I have seen your adulteries, and your neighings, the lewdness of your whoredom, and your abominations on the hills in the fields. Woe to you, O Jerusalem! Will you not be made clean? When shall it once be?
23How can you say, I am not defiled, I have not gone after Baalim? see your way in the valley, know what you have done: you are a swift dromedary traversing her ways;
5And Aholah played the harlot while she was mine; and she lusted after her lovers, after the Assyrians her neighbors,

1Do not rejoice, O Israel, like other peoples, for you have gone astray from your God; you have loved a reward upon every threshing floor.
10And the pride of Israel bears witness to his face: and they do not return to the LORD their God, nor seek him for all this.
5Your calf, O Samaria, has cast you off; my anger is kindled against them. How long will it be until they attain innocence?
9And all the people will know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria, who say in the pride and stubbornness of heart,
6Your habitation is in the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, says the LORD.
23Because they have done outrageous things in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbors' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; indeed I know, and am a witness, says the LORD.
26You have also committed fornication with the Egyptians, your neighbors, great of flesh; and have increased your whoredoms, to provoke me to anger.
