46 Woe to you, O Moab! The people of Chemosh perish, for your sons are taken captive and your daughters captive.
47 Yet I will bring back the captivity of Moab in the latter days, says the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.

23 And that the whole land is brimstone, salt, and burning, that it is not sown, nor bears, nor any grass grows therein, like the overthrow of Sodom, and Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboim, which the LORD overthrew in his anger and in his wrath:
24 So when they came to the camp of Israel, the Israelites rose up and attacked the Moabites, so that they fled before them; and they continued attacking and defeated the Moabites in their land.
4 And Mesha king of Moab was a sheep breeder and rendered to the king of Israel one hundred thousand lambs and one hundred thousand rams, with the wool.
38 There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab and in its streets, for I have broken Moab like a vessel in which is no pleasure, says the LORD.
28 For there is a fire gone out of Heshbon, a flame from the city of Sihon: it has consumed Ar of Moab, and the lords of the high places of Arnon.
