7'Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Thus shall you say to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of me: Behold, Pharaoh's army, which has come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt, to their own land.
16When Jeremiah had entered into the dungeon and into the cells, and Jeremiah had remained there many days,
17Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out; and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, 'Is there any word from the LORD?' And Jeremiah said, 'There is, for, said he, you shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.'
13So they drew Jeremiah up with cords and lifted him out of the dungeon; and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
14Then Zedekiah the king sent and took Jeremiah the prophet to him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD; and the king said to Jeremiah, I will ask you a thing; hide nothing from me.
2For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem, and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house.
3For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Why do you prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it;
3Then Jeremiah said to them, Thus shall you say to Zedekiah:
13The word that the LORD spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon would come and strike the land of Egypt.
14Declare in Egypt, and proclaim in Migdol, and proclaim in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say, Stand fast, and prepare yourself; for the sword shall devour around you.
15And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, you remnant of Judah; Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If you wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to live there;
19Then the princes said to Baruch, Go, hide yourself, you and Jeremiah; and let no man know where you are.
2Take yourself a scroll and write on it all the words that I have spoken to you against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke to you, from the days of Josiah, even to this day.
10Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from here thirty men with you, and lift Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon before he dies.
11So Ebedmelech took the men with him and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took from there old cast-off clothes and worn-out rags, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.
11Now Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan, the captain of the guard, saying,
12Take him and look well to him and do him no harm; but do to him even as he says to you.
7Nebuchadnezzar also took some of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and placed them in his temple at Babylon.
2Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.
1In the ninth year of Zedekiah, king of Judah, in the tenth month, Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, and all his army came against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.
20And the sticks whereon you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
30Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of those who seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and who sought his life.
22And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him into Egypt.
8The Chaldeans burned the king’s house and the houses of the people with fire and broke down the walls of Jerusalem.
2Thus says the LORD to me; Make bonds and yokes, and put them upon your neck,
4For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are torn down by the battering rams and by the sword:
2And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with part of the vessels of the house of God, which he carried into the land of Shinar to the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasury of his god.
14They even sent and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison and committed him to Gedaliah, the son of Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, that he should take him home: so he dwelt among the people.
19Where now are your prophets who prophesied to you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?
1Thus says the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and take some of the elders of the people, and of the elders of the priests;
2Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel: Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus says the LORD: Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
