7 Then I went to the Euphrates, and dug, and took the belt from the place where I had hidden it: and, behold, the belt was marred, it was profitable for nothing.

12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are completed, that I will punish the king of Babylon and that nation, says the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.

47 Therefore behold, the days come that I will execute judgment upon the graven images of Babylon; her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in her midst.
16 Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read:
26 They shall not take from you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but you shall be desolate forever, says the LORD.
4 Therefore it shall be when you have crossed the Jordan, that you shall set up these stones, which I command you today, in Mount Ebal, and you shall plaster them with plaster.
3 But Baruch the son of Neriah sets you against us, to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
8 Behold, I will put bands upon you, and you shall not turn from one side to another, till you have completed the days of your siege.
2 Thus says the LORD to me; Make bonds and yokes, and put them upon your neck,

32 And that the passages are blocked, the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are terrified.
49 As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.
2 And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said to him, The LORD your God has pronounced this calamity upon this place.
32 Then Jeremiah took another scroll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah, who wrote on it from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire; and many similar words were added to them.

29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD your God has brought you into the land which you go to possess, that you shall put the blessing upon Mount Gerizim, and the curse upon Mount Ebal.
36 Therefore thus says the LORD: Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you; and I will dry up her sea and make her springs dry.
