And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?"

5And it was so, when the days of their feasting had run their course, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, "It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts." Thus Job did continually.
6Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.

20Then Job arose, tore his robe, shaved his head, and fell to the ground and worshipped.
21And he said, "Naked I came from my mother's womb, and naked shall I return there. The LORD gave, and the LORD has taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD."
22In all this Job did not sin, nor charge God with wrongdoing.
13You are of purer eyes than to behold evil and cannot look on wickedness. Why do You look on those who deal treacherously and hold Your tongue when the wicked devours a man more righteous than he?
1Then Job answered and said,

2And the LORD said to Satan, The LORD rebuke you, O Satan; indeed, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you: is this not a brand plucked from the fire?

7What man is like Job, who drinks up scorn like water?

1Therefore, Job, I beg you, listen to my speeches, and pay attention to all my words.
