Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said to the woman, Yes, has God said, You shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

14And the LORD God said to the serpent, Because you have done this, you are cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life:
15And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.
16To the woman He said, I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.
17Then to Adam He said, Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you, saying, You shall not eat of it: cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
18Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the herb of the field;
21Also, for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of skin, and clothed them.
22Then the LORD God said, Behold, the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever:
23Therefore the LORD God sent him out of the garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken.
24So He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life.
15And the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and to keep it.
16And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, You may freely eat of every tree of the garden;
17But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, you shall not eat: for in the day that you eat from it you shall surely die.
8And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed.
9And out of the ground the LORD God made to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the middle of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
14And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
7And the LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, "From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it."
8And the LORD said to Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?"
9Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, "Does Job fear God for nothing?
3But I fear, lest somehow, as the serpent deceived Eve through his craftiness, so your minds might be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.
2And the LORD said to Satan, Where do you come from? And Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
3And the LORD said to Satan, Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a perfect and upright man, one who fears God, and shuns evil? And still he holds fast his integrity, although you moved me against him, to destroy him without cause.
4And Satan answered the LORD, and said, Skin for skin, yes, all that a man has will he give for his life.
28And God blessed them, and God said to them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
29And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.
15And the serpent poured water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.
26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
19And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air; and brought them to Adam to see what he would call them: and whatever Adam called each living creature, that was its name.
11And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after its kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth; and it was so.
7If you do well, shall you not be accepted? and if you do not do well, sin lies at the door. And unto you shall be his desire, and you shall rule over him.
11Surely the serpent will bite without enchantment; and a babbler is no better.
22And with the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, He made a woman and brought her to the man.
