8For inquire, I pray you, of the former age, and prepare yourself to the search of their fathers:

21Acquaint yourself with Him now and be at peace; thereby good will come to you.
18But you shall remember the LORD your God: for it is he that gives you power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is this day.
2But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, though you are little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of you shall come forth to me the one who is to be ruler in Israel; whose origins have been from of old, from everlasting.
17And there is hope in your future, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.
2His descendants shall be mighty upon the earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

8And if the LORD your God enlarges your border, as He has sworn to your fathers, and gives you all the land which He promised to give to your fathers;
6And that He would show you the secrets of wisdom, that they are double what is! Know therefore that God exacts from you less than your iniquity deserves.
19And out of them shall come thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
