17However, Sisera fled away on foot to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber the Kenite, for there was peace between Jabin king of Hazor and the house of Heber the Kenite.
18And Jael went out to meet Sisera, and said to him, Turn in, my lord, turn in to me; do not fear. And when he had turned in to her into the tent, she covered him with a blanket.
19And he said to her, Please give me a little water to drink, for I am thirsty. So she opened a jug of milk and gave him a drink, and covered him.
20Then he said to her, Stand in the door of the tent, and if anyone comes and asks you, Is there a man here? you shall say, No.
21Then Jael, Heber's wife, took a tent peg and a hammer in her hand, went softly to him, and drove the peg into his temples, and it went down into the ground, for he was fast asleep and exhausted. So he died.
22And behold, as Barak pursued Sisera, Jael came out to meet him, and said to him, Come, and I will show you the man whom you seek. And when he came into her tent, there lay Sisera dead, with the peg in his temples.
23So God subdued Jabin king of Canaan on that day before the children of Israel.
24And the hand of the children of Israel pressed harder and harder against Jabin king of Canaan, until they had destroyed Jabin king of Canaan.
8And Barak said to her, If you will go with me, then I will go; but if you will not go with me, then I will not go.
9And she said, I will surely go with you; nevertheless the journey that you take shall not be for your glory, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the hand of a woman. So Deborah arose, and went with Barak to Kedesh.
10And Barak called Zebulun and Naphtali to Kedesh; and he went up with ten thousand men at his feet, and Deborah went up with him.
2And the LORD sold them into the hand of Jabin king of Canaan, who reigned in Hazor; the commander of his army was Sisera, who lived in Harosheth of the Gentiles.
3And the children of Israel cried to the LORD, for Sisera had nine hundred chariots of iron, and for twenty years he mightily oppressed the children of Israel.
20They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
21The river Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, you have trodden down strength.
9Do to them as to the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kishon:

12Awake, awake, Deborah; awake, awake, utter a song; arise, Barak, and lead your captives captive, son of Abinoam.
11And you shall hear what they say, and afterward your hands shall be strengthened to go down to the army. Then he went down with Phurah his servant to the outposts of the armed men who were in the camp.
30'Have they not found and divided the spoil? To every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a spoil of dyed garments, a spoil of dyed garments embroidered, dyed garments embroidered on both sides, for the necks of those who take the spoil?'
1Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
4And the LORD said to Gideon, The people are still too many; bring them down to the water, and I will test them for you there. It shall be that of whom I say to you, This one shall go with you, the same shall go with you; and of whomever I say to you, This one shall not go with you, the same shall not go.
10And the Spirit of the LORD came upon him, and he judged Israel, and went out to war: and the LORD delivered Chushanrishathaim king of Mesopotamia into his hand; and his hand prevailed against Chushanrishathaim.
24And Gideon sent messengers throughout all Mount Ephraim, saying, Come down against the Midianites and take before them the waters as far as Beth Barah and Jordan. Then all the men of Ephraim gathered themselves together and took the waters as far as Beth Barah and Jordan.
16And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with you, and you shall smite the Midianites as one man.
14And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this your might, and you shall save Israel from the hand of the Midianites. Have I not sent you?
9The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.
11Therefore I counsel that all Israel be generally gathered to you, from Dan even to Beersheba, as the sand that is by the sea for multitude; and that you go to battle in your own person.
1And it happened, when Jabin king of Hazor heard these things, he sent to Jobab king of Madon, and to the king of Shimron, and to the king of Achshaph,
7And the LORD said to Gideon, By the three hundred men who lapped I will save you and deliver the Midianites into your hand; let all the other people go every man to his place.
4And they went out, they and all their armies with them, numerous people, as the sand that is on the seashore in multitude, with very many horses and chariots.
2And the LORD said to Gideon, The people with you are too many for me to hand the Midianites over to you, lest Israel boast against me, saying, My own hand has saved me.
11And the LORD sent Jerubbaal, and Bedan, and Jephthah, and Samuel, and delivered you out of the hand of your enemies on every side, and you dwelled safe.
7And Gideon said, Therefore, when the LORD has delivered Zebah and Zalmunna into my hand, then I will tear your flesh with the thorns of the wilderness and with briers.
32So Jephthah advanced towards the children of Ammon to fight against them; and the LORD delivered them into his hands.
36And Gideon said unto God, If you will save Israel by my hand, as you have said,
