The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

7And you shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.
23I will heap disasters upon them; I will use up my arrows against them.
24and my wrath shall grow hot, and I will kill you with the sword; your wives shall be widows and your children fatherless.
15For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may strike you and your people with pestilence; and you shall be cut off from the earth.
12By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall plunder the pomp of Egypt, and all its multitude shall be destroyed.
17Shall they therefore empty their net, and not spare continually to slay the nations?
