  • 14And the LORD has given a commandment concerning you, that your name shall be no longer sown: out of the house of your gods I will cut off the carved image and the molten image; I will make your grave; for you are vile.

  • 3Understand therefore today, that the LORD your God is the one who goes over before you; as a consuming fire he shall destroy them, and he shall bring them down before you: so you shall drive them out and destroy them quickly, as the LORD has said to you.

  • 9The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my desire shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

  • 9But I acted for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, among whom they were, in whose sight I made myself known to them, in bringing them out of the land of Egypt.

  • 15For if you turn away from following him, he will again leave them in the wilderness, and you will have destroyed all this people.

  • 9For from the top of the rocks I see him and from the hills I behold him; behold, the people shall dwell alone and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
