Then he said to Zebah and Zalmunna, What kind of men were they whom you killed at Tabor? And they answered, As you are, so were they; each one resembled the children of a king.

9And he also spoke to the men of Penuel, saying, When I come again in peace, I will break down this tower.
10Now Zebah and Zalmunna were in Karkor, and their armies with them, about fifteen thousand men, all who were left of all the armies of the children of the east: for there fell a hundred and twenty thousand men who drew sword.
11Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yes, all their princes as Zebah and as Zalmunna:
1And the men of Ephraim said to him, Why have you treated us this way, that you did not call us when you went to fight with the Midianites? And they argued with him sharply.
2And he said to them, What have I done now in comparison to you? Isn't the gleaning of the grapes of Ephraim better than the vintage of Abiezer?
3God has delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison to you? Then their anger was pacified toward him when he said that.
8And they came to their brethren in Zorah and Eshtaol, and their brethren said to them, What do you say?
9Do to them as to the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kishon:
12And when Zebah and Zalmunna fled, he pursued after them, and captured the two kings of Midian, Zebah and Zalmunna, and routed all the army.
16Now therefore, if you have dealt truly and sincerely, in that you have made Abimelech king, and if you have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done to him according to what he deserved—
17(For my father fought for you, risked his life, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian,
18But you have risen up against my father's house today, and have killed his sons, seventy persons, on one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother)—
27The people answered him in this manner, saying, So shall it be done for the man who kills him.
8And they killed the kings of Midian, besides the rest of those who were slain; namely, Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they killed with the sword.
8And he said to me, Who are you? And I answered him, I am an Amalekite.
9He said to me again, Stand, please, upon me, and kill me: for anguish has come upon me, because my life is still in me.
56Thus God repaid the wickedness of Abimelech, which he had done to his father, in killing his seventy brothers.
56The king said, Inquire whose son the young man is.

10The men of Judah said, Why have you come up against us? They answered, We have come up to bind Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.
11Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam and said to Samson, Do you not know that the Philistines rule over us? What is this you have done to us? He said to them, As they did to me, so have I done to them.
39And when the men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to strike and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons; for they said, Surely they are struck down before us, as in the first battle.
7Has He smitten him, as He smote those that smote him? Or is he slain according to the slaughter of those that are slain by Him?

7And Adonibezek said, Seventy kings, having their thumbs and big toes cut off, gathered their meat under my table; as I have done, so God has repaid me. And they brought him to Jerusalem, and there he died.
4And David said to him, How did the matter go? Please, tell me. And he answered, The people have fled from the battle, and many of the people are also fallen and dead; and Saul and Jonathan his son are dead as well.
7Where the people of Israel were defeated before the servants of David, and there was there a great slaughter that day of twenty thousand men.
8These were born to the giant in Gath; and they fell by the hand of David and by the hand of his servants.
11And he said, This will be the manner of the king who shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for his own use, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.
