2Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word of God came to John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.
36Now, indeed, Elizabeth your relative has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is now the sixth month for her who was called barren.
39Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, to a city of Judah,
40Entered the house of Zacharias, and greeted Elizabeth.
41When Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
