28And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore his father came out, and pleaded with him.
29And he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years I have served you, nor have I transgressed at any time your commandment: and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends:
30But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.
31And he said to him, Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.
32It was right that we should make merry and be glad: for this your brother was dead and is alive again; and was lost and is found.

5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7I say to you, that likewise there will be joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, more than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
10Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
1And he also said to his disciples, There was a certain rich man who had a steward; and he was accused to him of wasting his goods.
2And he called him and said to him, How is it that I hear this about you? Give an account of your stewardship, for you may no longer be steward.
11For the Son of Man has come to save that which was lost.
12What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that has gone astray?
13And if he finds it, truly I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine which did not go astray.
14Even so, it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
16Then he said to him, A certain man made a great supper and invited many:

2The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who prepared a wedding for his son,
18If a man has a stubborn and rebellious son, who will not obey the voice of his father or the voice of his mother, and who, when they have chastened him, will not listen to them,
37But last of all, he sent his son to them, saying, They will respect my son.
12And their father said to them, What way went he? For his sons had seen what way the man of God went, who came from Judah.
6Therefore, having one son, his beloved, he sent him to them last, saying, 'They will respect my son.'
25And great multitudes went with him: and he turned, and said to them,
