27And he said to him, Your brother has come; and your father has killed the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.

29And he answered and said to his father, Lo, these many years I have served you, nor have I transgressed at any time your commandment: and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends:
30But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.
31And he said to him, Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.
32It was right that we should make merry and be glad: for this your brother was dead and is alive again; and was lost and is found.
3And he spoke this parable to them, saying,
4What man among you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?
5And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
7I say to you, that likewise there will be joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, more than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
28But what do you think? A certain man had two sons, and he came to the first and said, Son, go work today in my vineyard.

2The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king, who prepared a wedding for his son,
3And sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they would not come.
4Again, he sent out other servants, saying, Tell those who are invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and fattened cattle are slaughtered, and everything is ready: come to the wedding.
5But they made light of it and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his business:
18While he was still speaking, another also came and said, "Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother's house,
21So that servant came and reported these things to his master. Then the master of the house, being angry, said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, and the crippled, and the lame, and the blind.
15And it came to pass, when he returned, having received the kingdom, he then commanded these servants to be called to him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16Then he said to him, A certain man made a great supper and invited many:
17And sent his servant at supper time to say to those who were invited, Come; for all things are now ready.
