20 And the sticks whereon you write shall be in your hand before their eyes.
8 "Take the rod, and gather the assembly together, you and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, and it will yield its water; thus you shall bring water for them out of the rock, and give drink to the congregation and their livestock."
9 So Moses took the rod from before the LORD as He commanded him.

12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents, but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
