And the LORD said to Moses, Go ahead of the people, and take with you some of the elders of Israel; and your rod, with which you struck the river, take in your hand, and go.

15And the LORD said to Moses, Why do you cry to me? speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward:
16But lift up your rod, and stretch out your hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.
9And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD to all the children of Israel: and they looked, and each man took his rod.
10And the LORD said to Moses, Bring Aaron's rod back before the testimony, to be kept as a sign against the rebels; and you shall completely remove their murmurings from me, that they do not die.
11And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so he did.
20And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt, and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
21And the LORD said to Moses, When you go to return to Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh which I have put in your hand, but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.
15And Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,
9And Moses said to Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.
5And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod whom I choose shall blossom: and I will put an end to the murmurings of the children of Israel against you.

16And the LORD said to Moses, Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them to the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with you.
