And Moses said to Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.

6Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
20And Moses said to them, If you will do this thing, if you will go armed before the LORD to war,
25(Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get into the wilderness by the way of the Red Sea.
26And the LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

15Go to Pharaoh in the morning; see, he goes out to the water; and you shall stand by the river's edge until he comes; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.
20And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon a donkey, and he returned to the land of Egypt, and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.
2And the LORD said to him, What is that in your hand? And he said, A rod.
23And he gave Joshua the son of Nun a charge, and said, Be strong and of good courage: for you shall bring the children of Israel into the land which I swore to them: and I will be with you.
17Remember what Amalek did to you on the way, when you came forth out of Egypt;
13And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand; and Joshua went to him and said to him, Are you for us or for our adversaries?
15And Moses spoke to the LORD, saying,
2Be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning to Mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me at the top of the mountain.
28and Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days), saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for tomorrow I will deliver them into your hand.
28So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
26then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, "Whoever is on the LORD's side—come to me!" And all the sons of Levi gathered to him.
8And Moses said to them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
13And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever.
14The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.
13And it happened on the next day that Moses sat to judge the people, and the people stood by Moses from morning until evening.
