9And Joshua set up twelve stones in the midst of the Jordan, in the place where the feet of the priests who bore the ark of the covenant stood: and they are there to this day.
10For the priests who bore the ark stood in the midst of the Jordan, until everything was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hurried and passed over.
13And it shall come to pass, as soon as the soles of the feet of the priests who bear the ark of the LORD, the Lord of all the earth, shall rest in the waters of the Jordan, that the waters of the Jordan shall be cut off, the waters that come down from above; and they shall stand in a heap.
14And it came to pass, when the people moved from their tents, to cross over the Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
15And as those who bore the ark came to the Jordan, and the feet of the priests who bore the ark were dipped in the edge of the water (for the Jordan overflows all its banks during the time of harvest),
4From every tribe, a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, you shall send to the war.
5So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand from each tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
17These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you: Eleazar the priest and Joshua the son of Nun.
18And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land by inheritance.
44These are those who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron numbered, along with the leaders of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
12And the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses had spoken to them:
13About forty thousand prepared for war crossed over before the LORD to the plains of Jericho for battle.

14In the morning therefore you shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which the LORD takes shall come according to the families; and the family which the LORD shall take shall come by households; and the household which the LORD shall take shall come man by man.
37On the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, with all types of weapons of war for battle, one hundred and twenty thousand.
8And you shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When you come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.
7Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
17And Moses and Aaron took these men who were named.
2Speak to the children of Israel, and take from each one of them a rod according to their ancestral houses, of all their leaders according to their ancestral houses twelve rods: write each man's name on his rod.
21And will all of you go armed over the Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
13Choose wise, understanding, and knowledgeable men among your tribes, and I will make them leaders over you.
6And Joshua spoke to the priests, saying, Take up the ark of the covenant and pass before the people. And they took up the ark of the covenant and went before the people.

15These are the ones who crossed over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all those in the valleys, to the east and to the west.
31And Elijah took twelve stones, according to the number of the tribes of the sons of Jacob, to whom the word of the LORD came, saying, Israel shall be your name:
14And with him ten leaders, one chief leader from each house throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.

4Take the sum of the people, from twenty years old and upward; as the LORD commanded Moses and the children of Israel, who came out of the land of Egypt.
15So I took the heads of your tribes, wise and known men, and made them leaders over you, captains over thousands, captains over hundreds, captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.
28So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
