7But the Levites have no part among you, for the priesthood of the LORD is their inheritance. And Gad, Reuben, and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance beyond Jordan on the east, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave them.
1Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great number of cattle; and when they saw the land of Jazer and the land of Gilead, they realized that the place was suitable for cattle.
2The children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the leaders of the congregation, saying,
15And the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,
6And Moses said to the children of Gad and to the children of Reuben, Shall your brothers go to war while you sit here?
17Joshua spoke to the house of Joseph, to Ephraim and to Manasseh, saying, "You are a great people and have great power; you shall not have only one lot.
2And Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders, for their leaders, for their judges, and for their officers, and said to them, I am old and advanced in age.
8And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of Manasseh.
6These did Moses the servant of the LORD and the children of Israel strike: and Moses the servant of the LORD gave it for a possession to the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh.
7Now therefore divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Manasseh,
8With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
8And you shall command the priests who bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When you come to the edge of the waters of the Jordan, you shall stand still in the Jordan.
9And Joshua said to the children of Israel, Come here and hear the words of the LORD your God.
14For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received their inheritance; and half the tribe of Manasseh have received their inheritance:
13And the children of Israel sent to the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh, in the land of Gilead, Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest,
22And Joshua called for them, and he spoke to them, saying, Why have you deceived us, saying, We are very far from you; when you dwell among us?
25And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, Your servants will do as my lord commands.
16And the LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
1Then the heads of the fathers of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
15until the LORD has given your brethren rest, as he has given you, and they also have possessed the land which the LORD your God is giving them. Then you shall return to the land of your possession and enjoy it, which Moses the LORD's servant gave you on this side of the Jordan toward the sunrise.
16And they answered Joshua, saying, All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us, we will go.
25For the LORD has made the Jordan a border between us and you, children of Reuben and children of Gad; you have no part in the LORD. So your children might make our children cease from fearing the LORD.
3And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
12And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half the mountain of Gilead, and its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
16And to the Reubenites and to the Gadites I gave from Gilead even to the river Arnon, half the valley, and the border even to the river Jabbok, which is the border of the children of Ammon;
37On the other side of the Jordan, of the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, with all types of weapons of war for battle, one hundred and twenty thousand.
31And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD has said to your servants, so will we do.
