34And the children of Reuben and the children of Gad called the altar Ed: for it shall be a witness between us that the LORD is God.
16And they answered Joshua, saying, All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us, we will go.
12And the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and half the tribe of Manasseh, passed over armed before the children of Israel, as Moses had spoken to them:
9And the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh returned, and departed from the children of Israel at Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan, to go to the region of Gilead, to the land of their possession, which they possessed according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

20And Moses said to them, If you will do this thing, if you will go armed before the LORD to war,
21And will all of you go armed over the Jordan before the LORD, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
8With whom the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the LORD gave them;
41Then you answered and said to me, We have sinned against the LORD, we will go up and fight, according to all that the LORD our God commanded us. And when you had girded on every man his weapons of war, you were ready to go up into the hill.
32And it shall be, if you go with us, yes, it shall be, that whatever good the LORD shall do to us, the same we will do to you.
14And you answered me and said, The thing which you have spoken is good for us to do.
12And this land, which we possessed at that time, from Aroer, which is by the river Arnon, and half the mountain of Gilead, and its cities, I gave to the Reubenites and to the Gadites.
11And the children of Israel heard it said, Behold, the children of Reuben, the children of Gad, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have built an altar across from the land of Canaan, in the borders of the Jordan, at the passage of the children of Israel.
8And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses brought back the words of the people to the LORD.
24And the people said to Joshua, The LORD our God will we serve, and his voice will we obey.
16And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

16For all the riches which God has taken from our father, that is ours, and our children's: now then, whatever God has said to you, do.
10And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not do according to your words.
13But if you say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,
21And the people said to Joshua, No; but we will serve the LORD.
