22And Joshua said to the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.
23Now therefore put away, said he, the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel.
10You stand this day all of you before the LORD your God: your leaders of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
1Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD, it happened that the LORD spoke to Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' assistant, saying,
2Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, cross over this Jordan, you and all this people, to the land which I am giving to them, to the children of Israel.
28So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel,
1Then the heads of the fathers of the Levites approached Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the heads of the fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel;
22And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: he took Joshua and set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation:
3And Joshua said to the children of Israel, How long will you delay to go and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers has given you?
35There was not a word of all that Moses commanded that Joshua did not read before all the congregation of Israel, with the women, and the little ones, and the strangers who were among them.
6And Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the evening, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
3And Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,
9And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands on him: and the children of Israel listened to him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.
29And it came to pass after these things, that Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the LORD, died, being a hundred and ten years old.
25Then Joshua said to them, Do not be afraid, nor be dismayed; be strong and of good courage, for the LORD will do this to all your enemies against whom you fight.
19And set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation; and give him a charge in their sight.
