And Joshua said to the people, You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD, to serve him. And they said, We are witnesses.

24And they answered Joshua, and said, Because it was certainly told to your servants how the LORD your God commanded His servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land from before you, therefore we were very afraid for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.
25And now, see, we are in your hand: do to us as it seems good and right to you to do.
1Then Joshua called the Reubenites, the Gadites, and the half-tribe of Manasseh,
2And said to them, You have kept all that Moses the servant of the LORD commanded you, and have obeyed my voice in all that I commanded you:
16And they answered Joshua, saying, All that you command us we will do, and wherever you send us, we will go.
17Just as we heeded Moses in all things, so we will heed you. Only the LORD your God be with you, as he was with Moses.
8And they said to Joshua, We are your servants. And Joshua said to them, Who are you? and where do you come from?
17You have declared the LORD this day to be your God, and to walk in his ways, and to keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his judgments, and to listen to his voice:
18And the LORD has declared you this day to be his special people, as he has promised you, and that you should keep all his commandments;
9And Joshua said to the children of Israel, Come here and hear the words of the LORD your God.
7And the people served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the LORD, that he did for Israel.
2And Joshua called for all Israel, for their elders, for their leaders, for their judges, and for their officers, and said to them, I am old and advanced in age.
3And you have seen all that the LORD your God has done to all these nations because of you; for the LORD your God is the one who has fought for you.
10And the elders of Gilead said to Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us, if we do not do according to your words.
10Then Joshua commanded the officers of the people, saying,
27But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of the LORD before Him with our burnt offerings, with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, You have no part in the LORD.
28Therefore we said that it shall be, when they should say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say, Behold the pattern of the altar of the LORD, which our fathers made, not for burnt offerings nor for sacrifices, but it is a witness between us and you.
1And Joshua gathered all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called for the elders of Israel, and for their leaders, and for their judges, and for their officers; and they presented themselves before God.
19I call heaven and earth to witness this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live:
27And Joshua made them that day woodcutters and water carriers for the congregation, and for the altar of the LORD, even to this day, in the place which He would choose.
31And Israel served the LORD all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders who survived Joshua, and who had known all the works of the LORD, which he had done for Israel.
15And the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,
10You stand this day all of you before the LORD your God: your leaders of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
13Now therefore behold the king whom you have chosen, and whom you have desired! and, behold, the LORD has set a king over you.
2And Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, You have seen all that the LORD did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land;
5And Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves, for tomorrow the LORD will do wonders among you.
6And they went to Joshua at the camp in Gilgal, and said to him and to the men of Israel, We have come from a far country: now therefore make a treaty with us.
10You are My witnesses, says the LORD, and My servant whom I have chosen: that you may know and believe Me, and understand that I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me.
13And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand; and Joshua went to him and said to him, Are you for us or for our adversaries?
21And I commanded Joshua at that time, saying, Your eyes have seen all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings; so shall the LORD do to all the kingdoms through which you pass.
5But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to cling to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
7And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the hearing of the people: and they said, All that the LORD has said we will do, and be obedient.
14And you answered me and said, The thing which you have spoken is good for us to do.
