11 Pass through the camp and command the people, saying, Prepare provisions for yourselves, for within three days you shall cross over this Jordan, to go in to possess the land which the LORD your God is giving you to possess.
13 Get up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow: for thus says the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of you, O Israel: you cannot stand before your enemies, until you take away the accursed thing from among you.
14 On that day the LORD exalted Joshua in the sight of all Israel; and they feared him, as they feared Moses, all the days of his life.
15 And the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,
10 And the LORD said to Moses, Go to the people, and sanctify them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,
11 And be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon Mount Sinai.
1 And it happened, when all the people had completely passed over the Jordan, that the LORD spoke to Joshua, saying,
7 And he said to the people, Proceed, and surround the city, and let him who is armed go on before the ark of the LORD.
15 And the captain of the LORD's army said to Joshua, Take your shoe off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy. And Joshua did so.
3 The LORD your God, he will go over before you, and he will destroy these nations before you, and you shall possess them: and Joshua, he shall go over before you, as the LORD has said.
6 And the LORD said to Joshua, Do not be afraid because of them: for tomorrow about this time I will deliver them all slain before Israel: you shall hamstring their horses, and burn their chariots with fire.
5 And the LORD set a time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD will do this thing in the land.
7 And Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of good courage: for you must go with this people to the land which the LORD has sworn to their fathers to give them; and you shall cause them to inherit it.
7 Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy: for I am the LORD your God.
23 Now therefore put away, said he, the foreign gods which are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD God of Israel.
28 But charge Joshua, and encourage him, and strengthen him, for he shall go over before this people, and he shall cause them to inherit the land which you see.
1 The LORD also spoke to Joshua, saying,
3 And you shall surround the city, all you men of war, and go around the city once. You shall do this for six days.
12 And Joshua rose early in the morning, and the priests took up the ark of the LORD.
10 And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, You shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I tell you to shout; then shall you shout.
22 And let the priests also, who come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break out against them.
14 And Moses went down from the mount to the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.
15 And he said to the people, Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.
19 And Joshua said to the people, You cannot serve the LORD: for he is a holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions or your sins.
14 And it came to pass, when the people moved from their tents, to cross over the Jordan, and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant before the people;
15 And it came to pass on the seventh day, that they rose early at the dawn of the day, and surrounded the city in the same manner seven times: only on that day they surrounded the city seven times.
10 For the priests who bore the ark stood in the midst of the Jordan, until everything was finished that the LORD commanded Joshua to speak to the people, according to all that Moses commanded Joshua: and the people hurried and passed over.
11 And it happened, when all the people had completely passed over, that the ark of the LORD and the priests went over in the presence of the people.
14 For the LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you; therefore shall your camp be holy, that He see no unclean thing in you, and turn away from you.
6 And Joshua tore his clothes, and fell to the earth upon his face before the ark of the LORD until the evening, he and the elders of Israel, and put dust upon their heads.
10 And he said, "Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do wonders, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation; and all the people among whom you are shall see the work of the LORD, for it is an awesome thing that I will do with you."
13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, there stood a man opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand; and Joshua went to him and said to him, Are you for us or for our adversaries?
22 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: he took Joshua and set him before Eleazar the priest and before all the congregation:
