3And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, between me and my vineyard.
4What more could have been done to my vineyard, that I have not done in it? Why, when I looked for it to bring forth grapes, did it bring forth wild grapes?
5And now, I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will take away its hedge, and it shall be eaten up; break down its wall, and it shall be trampled down:
10Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not been mindful of the rock of your strength, therefore you shall plant pleasant plants, and set them with strange slips:
11In the day you shall make your plant to grow, and in the morning you shall make your seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of grief and desperate sorrow.
13You have a mighty arm; strong is your hand, and high is your right hand.
17You will bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which you have made for you to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O Lord, which your hands have established.
10And on the vine were three branches: and it seemed to bud, and its blossoms burst forth, and its clusters produced ripe grapes:
5For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks, and take away and cut down the branches.
7For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the men of Judah are his pleasant plant: and he looked for justice, but behold, oppression; for righteousness, but behold, a cry.
21Also your people shall all be righteous; they shall inherit the land forever, the branch of My planting, the work of My hands, that I may be glorified.
12Then the trees said to the vine, You come and reign over us.
13And the vine said to them, Should I leave my wine, which cheers God and man, and go to be promoted over the trees?
8Though its root grows old in the earth, and its stump dies in the ground;
6His branches shall spread, and his beauty shall be as the olive tree, and his fragrance as Lebanon.
7Those who dwell under his shadow shall return; they shall revive as the grain, and grow as the vine: the scent thereof shall be as the wine of Lebanon.
