43Then did I beat them as small as the dust of the earth, I stamped them as the mire of the street, and spread them abroad.
44You also have delivered me from the strivings of my people, you have kept me to be head of the nations: a people whom I knew not shall serve me.
34Or has God attempted to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, by wonders, by war, by a mighty hand, by a stretched out arm, and by great terrors, according to all that the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?
53For you separated them from among all the people of the earth, to be your inheritance, as you spoke by the hand of Moses your servant, when you brought our fathers out of Egypt, O Lord GOD.

9But You have cast us off and put us to shame; and do not go forth with our armies.

13And I have given you a land for which you did not labor, and cities which you did not build, and you dwell in them; you eat from vineyards and oliveyards which you did not plant.
42Then I beat them as fine as the dust before the wind: I cast them out like dirt in the streets.
