  • 17The Lord has done what He had planned; He has fulfilled His word that He commanded in the days of old: He has thrown down, and has not pitied: and He has caused your enemy to rejoice over you, He has exalted the strength of your adversaries.

  • 15For behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says the LORD; and they shall come, and every one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.

  • 24Therefore says the Lord, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel, Ah, I will ease myself of my adversaries, and avenge myself of my enemies:

  • 10Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruning hooks into spears; let the weak say, I am strong.

  • 9And he shall pass over to his stronghold for fear, and his princes shall be afraid of the banner, says the LORD, whose fire is in Zion, and His furnace in Jerusalem.

  • 19Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion, and shall destroy him who remains of the city.
