Ezek 47:1-9 : 1 Afterward he brought me again to the door of the house; and, behold, waters flowed out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the front of the house faced east, and the waters came down from under the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
Then he brought me out by way of the north gate, and led me around outside to the outer gate facing east; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side.
And when the man who had the measuring line in his hand went eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and brought me through the waters; the waters were ankle-deep.
Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were knee-deep. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were waist-deep.
Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not cross: for the waters had risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be crossed.
And he said to me, Son of man, have you seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the bank of the river.
Now when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the river were very many trees on one side and on the other.
Then he said to me, These waters flow toward the eastern region, and go into the desert, and go into the sea: which when flowing into the sea, the waters shall be healed.
And it shall come to pass, that every living creature that moves, wherever the rivers shall come, shall live: and there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall go there: for they shall be healed; and everything shall live wherever the river comes.
And it shall come to pass, that the fishermen shall stand upon it from Engedi even unto Eneglaim; they shall be a place to spread nets; their fish shall be according to their kinds, as the fish of the great sea, very many.
But the miry places and the marshes shall not be healed; they shall be given to salt.
And on the river, on the bank thereof, on this side and that side, shall grow all kinds of trees for food, whose leaf shall not wither, neither shall the fruit thereof fail: it shall bring forth new fruit according to its months, because their waters issue from the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for food, and the leaf thereof for medicine.
