And he said to me, To build it a house in the land of Shinar: and it shall be established, and set there upon its own base.

5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower which the sons of men had built.
8 Go up to the mountains, bring wood, and build the house; and I will take pleasure in it and be glorified, says the LORD.

3 At the same time, Tatnai, governor on this side of the river, and Shetharboznai, and their companions, came to them and said, Who has commanded you to build this house and to finish this wall?
4 Then we said to them in this manner, What are the names of the men who are building this building?
7 Let the work of this house of God alone; let the governor of the Jews and the elders of the Jews build this house of God in its place.
8 Be it known to the king, that we went into the province of Judea, to the house of the great God, which is being built with great stones, and timber is being laid in the walls, and this work is going on rapidly and prospers in their hands.
9 Then we asked those elders and said to them, Who commanded you to build this house and to finish these walls?
38 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananel to the corner gate.
3 In the first year of King Cyrus, the same Cyrus the king made a decree concerning the house of God at Jerusalem: Let the house be rebuilt, the place where they offered sacrifices, and let its foundations be firmly laid; its height sixty cubits, and its width sixty cubits;
4 With three rows of great stones, and a row of new timber; and let the expenses be given from the king's treasury:
5 And also let the gold and silver vessels of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar took out of the temple which is at Jerusalem, and brought to Babylon, be restored and brought again to the temple which is at Jerusalem, every one to its place, and place them in the house of God.
9 To prepare me timber in abundance, for the house which I am about to build shall be exceedingly great.
