21For behold, the LORD comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; the earth also will disclose her blood and will no more cover her slain.
11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army, for his camp is very great, for he is strong who executes his word. For the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; who can endure it?
14They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle, for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
2Before the decree comes forth, before the day passes like chaff, before the fierce anger of the LORD comes upon you, before the day of the LORD'S anger comes upon you.
3Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have carried out His judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be you shall be hidden in the day of the LORD'S anger.

8Behold, it is coming, and it shall be done, says the Lord GOD; this is the day of which I have spoken.
17Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not your heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them. Why should they say among the peoples, Where is their God?
1Keep silent before me, O islands; and let the people renew their strength: let them come near; then let them speak: let us come near together to judgment.
3You who put far away the evil day, and bring near the seat of violence;
1Keep your foot when you go to the house of God, and be more ready to hear than to offer the sacrifice of fools, for they do not know that they do evil.
4Also a bull and a ram for peace offerings, to sacrifice before the LORD; and a grain offering mixed with oil: for today the LORD will appear to you.
17For the great day of his wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?
15Hear, and give ear; be not proud: for the LORD has spoken.
