25he commanded the Levites who carried the ark of the LORD’s covenant,
17They brought the ark of the LORD and put it in its place in the middle of the tent that David had pitched for it. Then David offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before the LORD.
11My sons, do not be negligent now, for the LORD has chosen you to stand in his presence, to minister to him, to be his ministers, and offer sacrifices.”
12The following Levites prepared to carry out the king’s orders: From the Kohathites: Mahath son of Amasai and Joel son of Azariah;from the Merarites: Kish son of Abdi and Azariah son of Jehallelel;from the Gershonites: Joah son of Zimmah and Eden son of Joah;
6“Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may serve him.
15“After this, the Levites will go in to do the work of the tent of meeting. So you must cleanse them and offer them like a wave offering.
