But regarding the fact that he has raised Jesus from the dead, never again to be in a state of decay, God has spoken in this way:‘I will give you the holy and trustworthy promises made to David.’

  • 4 The LORD makes this promise on oath and will not revoke it:“You are an eternal priest after the pattern of Melchizedek.”

  • 9 But they will be subject to the LORD their God and to the Davidic ruler whom I will raise up as king over them.
